Sierra Renham joins Dakota Fusion FC with the capability and drive to continue developing women’s soccer in the Fargo-Moorhead area. With her experience playing in the WPSL, as well as coaching collegiately, she plans to bring new life to the club. A focus on developing young women and drawing new talent to the area, her passion to impact our community is palpable. Playing across the United States and Canada, Renham is excited to drive soccer’s next level program locally. Looking for committed college players that want to continue to grow and develop their skills over the summer, Dakota Fusion FC will compete at a high-level with high-level players.
Coach Renham is originally from Red Deer, Alberta and now resides in Fargo with her wife and their three dogs. Renham played locally here at North Dakota State University as a starting goalkeeper from 2011-2015. She started her coaching career at St. Cloud State University with Head Coach Gretta Arvesen. After playing for KC Courage out of Olathe, KS, New York Magic in New York City, NY, and Vancouver Island FC in Vancouver, BC, Renham’s experience in the WPSL and UWS leagues led her back to coaching and settling down in Fargo where she was an assistant coach under Christie Kopietz at Minnesota State University Moorhead. She currently has her Bachelors and Masters of Social Work and works for Lutheran Social Service of MN as a Mental Health Trauma Therapist at West Central Juvenile Detention Center. She is also pursuing her certification in Sports Social Work.
